Diversity Institute Handouts Now Available 

The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), and the Pennsylvania Key recently held the first Pennsylvania Higher Education Institute. This unique and exciting two day professional development event provided methods, models and materials to enhance our work. The focus of the Institute was to increase the emphasis on cultural, linguistic and ability diversity and address Chapter 49-2 requirements in course offerings, practica and program practices.
